Web-enablement
made painless with new version of aXes!
Linoma
Software and Arterial Software are proud
to announce a major new release of aXes,
an innovative solution for web-enabling
iSeries (AS/400) host screens with no programmer
intervention required. The aXes product
suite now includes web-based access to database
files and spooled files, as well as a variety
of other new enhancements.
Enhanced
Transfer and Encryption options available
with new Transfer Anywhere release
Linoma Software has made
available a new release of Transfer Anywhere™,
an enterprise-level solution for retrieving,
converting, compressing, decrypting, encrypting,
signing and distributing data and files.
Transfer Anywhere version 1.5.1 includes
new enhancements, including more encryption
capabilities and enhanced transferring
options.
Surveyor/400
receives the Bronze Award from Search400
in the Application Development Tools Category
Surveyor/400
has received the Bronze Award in the Applications
Development Tools category in the Search400.com
'Products of the Year' awards! The first
and second place winners were web development
products.
Winners were judged according
to innovation, performance, ease of integration
into existing environments, functionality
and value. The Products of the Year awards
represent the best new and advanced products
in the industry and are judged by a panel
of industry experts, including the editors
of TechTarget's Search400.com, a select
group of users, industry experts, analysts
and consultants. Linoma Software President
Bob Luebbe comments on the award, “Winning

PRESIDENT PRESENTS TWO SESSIONS
The President of
Linoma Software, Robert Luebbe,
will be presenting two sessions
at COMMON. The first session is
called “RPG Application
Architecture for the Modern Age.”
This course will show you how to
restructure your RPG applications
into a new multi-tier architecture,
which separates your existing rules
into powerful and reusable business
objects. You will then be shown
how to share this business logic
with your green screens, Java front-ends
and web applications. With RPG's
high-speed database access and familiarity,
it’s the perfect language
for centralizing all your business
rules. This session is Tuesday,
March 15th from 3:30-4:45 PM.
The second session
is called “Converting
to RPG IV and Free-Form with Linoma's
RPG Toolbox.” This
session will demonstrate how Linoma's
RPG Toolbox can be used to reliably
convert RPG source code to the most
modern RPG IV syntax for your OS
release. The Toolbox can modernize
to either fixed format or free-form
RPG IV, taking advantage of the
latest RPG operations and style.
Comparisons will be made to the
standard CVTRPGSRC command. Before
and After source examples will be
shown. A description of the various
Toolbox conversion options will
be discussed to take advantage of
the most modern RPG syntax available.
This session is on Wednesday, March
16th from 12:30-1:45 PM.
