Automate
iSeries Transfers using your PC Scheduler
with latest Surveyor/400 version!
 Linoma
Software is proud to announce a new version
of Surveyor/400 that allows a user to use
their PC scheduler to automate transfers
to and from the iSeries. The user can also
create desktop shortcut icons that will
allow a user to simply double-click on the
icon to execute a file transfer without
having to be logged into Surveyor/400. Transfers
include importing PC files to an iSeries
database file, exporting database files
to a PC file and converting spooled files
to a PDF or TXT format. Previous versions
of Surveyor/400 allowed a user to manually
execute the transfers or users could automate
the transfers using any iSeries scheduler
or in a CL program. The new version will
give users more flexibility to select the
transfer method they’re most comfortable
with and prefer.

 PGP Studio provided with new
Transfer Anywhere release
With the new release of
Transfer Anywhere, Linoma Software is
including a free copy of its new PGP Studio.
The PGP Studio allows a customer to perform
on-demand encryption, signing, verification
and decryption of PC files. A customer's
trading partners can additionally utilize
the affordable PGP Studio to verify and
decrypt files that are sent to them. PGP
Studio can be installed onto Windows,
Macintosh and Linux graphical desktops.

IBM
selects RPG Toolbox and Surveyor/400 for
the iSeries Developer Roadmap
IBM provides an iSeries Developer Roadmap
for customers that wish to modernize their
development tools and enhance the skills
of their iSeries developers. By following
this Roadmap, iSeries customers are expected
to provide additional capabilities in
their applications to ultimately increase
revenues and further streamline operations.
IBM recently added vendors' products to
the Roadmap. IBM selected Linoma Software's
RPG Toolbox and Surveyor/400 for the iSeries

Linoma Software is proud
to announce its new iSeries
Modernization Guide, which was created
to be a resource for customers that wish
to modernize and enhance their iSeries applications
and developer tools.
The Modernization Guide is broken out into
distinct categories to help a customer meet
their modernization goals, such as standardizing
RPG source, eliminating preprinted forms,
web enablement, etc. Each category in the
guide lists innovative products and services
from respected iSeries providers. Linoma
is pleased to announce that ACOM

Logic are now offering their

IBM
rebate available with Linoma product purchase
and a new/upgraded iSeries
Linoma Software's products
have been recognized by IBM as being ServerProven.
By purchasing a new iSeries and a ServerProven
product, you could be eligble to receive
an IBM rebate. The rebate has recently
been updated to include upgrades too.
The rebate will be equal
to the lesser of either the invoice/bill
of sale price of the ServerProven software
solution acquired or, as follows, based
upon the eligible server acquired. The
amount of the rebate depends on the server
feature as well as the model.
