It is our understanding that in PowerLock (by Powertools) you can restrict access to remote DDM. If you cannot use the File Editor because of PowerLock you will have to configure PowerLock to allow these connections for this user. To determine if PowerLock is causing a problem try looking in the job log. To find the job log use: WRKOBJLCK OBJ(yourProfile) OBJTYPE(*USRPRF). Remote DDM jobs are named QRWTSRVR.
