Q: How much disk space does your package take?
A: About 18MB in the Surveyor library and 17MB on the IFS.
Q: What are the Package growth patterns?
A: It depends what features you use. Each Surveyor/400 user takes some space.
Other things that take up space are custom library lists, layouts, and FTP logs.
Q: What are the physical requirements for the application? (ie.OS,Memory, Processor speed)
A: On the iSeries, the operating system needs to be at least at V5R1 or higher. On the PC, Windows 98 or newer. It will run on a PC with 700 mhz and 128 MB of RAM but a faster PC with more memory will make Surveyor/400 run faster. Surveyor/400 runs in Batch (except included emulator) so there should be minimal affect on the iSeries processor. Surveyor/400 can be used on a non-interactive Standard iSeries too. |
