Object Filter
Object Filters return a list of objects for given set of filter criteria.
Filters appear in the tree on the main Surveyor/400 window either under
a library or under the Database folder. Filters also appear in the Library
Properties screen. Filters can be viewed, added, edited, deleted, copied
or opened in the Object Search screen through the Object Filter Manager
which can be opened by clicking on the icon on the tool bar. For convenience,
filters may also be viewed, added, edited, deleted, copied or opened in
the Object Search screen by right-clicking on a filter in the main Surveyor/400
tree view. Filters may also be edited or added by opening the Object Search
screen.
Basic Filter Details

Low Detail - Filtering criteria includes Name, Library, Type, Attribute,
and Description. The information returned also includes Name, Library,
Attribute, and Description. |

High Detail - Filtering criteria includes all of the Low Detail
filtering ability plus Date, Size and User filters. Information returned
includes all of the Low Detail information plus Size, User Created, Date
Created, Date Changed, Date Saved, and Date Last. |

All Libraries - The Filter will appear in the Object Filter
section of every library. The library that the Filter appears under will
be used in the filter. |

Select Library - Below the Library used in the filter is selected
in the below Filter Criteria section. |

All Systems - The Filter will appear in the Object Filter section
of every system. The system that the Filter appears under will be used
in the filter |

Select System Below - The System used in the filter is selected
in the below Filter Criteria section. |

Show Under Database Folder - Filters normally appear under
the Object Filter section under the library specified in the Filter Criteria.
Checking this box will allow the filter to also appear in the Object
Filter section directly under the Database folder. |
