Scheduling Transfers on the iSeries

You can save your transfer specifications and call them from a command line, CL program or any scheduler on the iSeries. Transfers including exporting database files to a PC format, importing PC files to a database file, FTP between iSeries and the converting of spooled files to a PDF or TXT format can now all be easily manually executed or automated.

There are four types of transfers that can be scheduled on the iSeries

	Export database file
	Import database file
	Export spooled file
	FTP data between iSeries
